How do you add graphics/images to your map?

How do add graphics to your map. Like if you wanted to add a tree how do you upload it. Because I have really good idea's for maps but I don't really know how to work the editor. If I knew how I'm sure that I can help make more maps. I'm like a photoshop pro and a quick learner.

Create a new map in the editor. Once you have done that it will create a directory in your altitude/editor folder with that map name. Inside that folder will be a folder named "Images." Place the images inside that folder. In the editor go to "Edit" and then "Refresh Resources." Then you should be able to place it in your map using either the Place Sprite option or the Create Geom.
