All leagues added together, our performance was better then ACE's this APL so we overtook them.

Ummm that doesn't make much sense to me, at least not for this league where we all played 11 matches.

I think that tthe overall results of 11 matches should be more rewarded than 1-2 matches in the playoffs.

the whole season is played to be placed for easier playoff matches, for better teams, the further they get, those are the final standings...the playoffs decide

I dont understand the need for overall standings pontuation.
IMO this pontuation should only reward the winner. Team X has 2 league victorys, team Y has 1 league victory. For the record teams get Cups not points - but only 1 per competition.
*This 3 digits thing sounds to me like EGO MANIA.

Also keep in mind that these rankings are biased. For instance fLb and ACE have been around for a lot longer than sammich - hence why their points are so far ahead. If we were basing it only one these past 2 seasons sammich would be in the lead easily. So any new teams that join are also going to be way far behind.

Not like it really matters though. If you don't like the rankings don't look at them. After all they're just numbers some people came up with. Make your own if you want to make yourself feel better

no your right, and i've been thinking of a rating system,
but its just an overall record, but also, im not trying to be biased, when i did these, ace was first place overall, after 2 seasons,

you have a trophy mike, enjoy it

just give me time to think of a new system

This is an all time achievement ranking and I don't see what's wrong with it. This isn't ELO ranking which would show the current ranking like ladder which uses a modified version of it.

I'm not complaining - I'm just pointing out that people need to take this with a grain of salt. I don't really care about the points or rankings or whatever. I just wanted to point out some things that people should think about before getting mad.
