Map hosters

I "released" a tbd map few days ago and received zero feedback on what concerns the hosting.

I wish those with servers post here, their name, server name, play modes... - This would realy help map makers!

This wont help in your situation as it only concerns the ball maps, but:


I have updated the arr server #3 to be the official map testing server. I will include ball maps from the map making section to the server to be tested by the community. Please try them out with the other players and let the map creators know how you felt about them. Map creators are encouraged to contact me if they have maps they want to add to the server if I haven't done so yet.

You can download all of the current maps in a single zip package behind this link: http://gemi.nn.fi/files/arr_server_maps.zip
This means you don't have to wait for the maps to load when changing map on the server. I've pumped up the download rate, but it's still not instant when a lot of players are downloading at the same time.

The list of maps currently in rotation on the server are:

ball_atmosphere
ball_cavern
ball_cross (not sure if it's the newest version)
ball_cube
ball_doodle
ball_funnelpark (not sure if it's the newest version)
ball_hardcourt
ball_lazer
ball_ocean
ball_pixelized
ball_risk
ball_skullisland
ball_superlazer
