so im making a coop map called Factories
i drew it all in photoshop first, then turned it into a png file and opened it in the map editor. now, since i hadnt put each peice in individually, it was a single picture so i started adding polygons to match the shapes. heres what i got map: ![]() Polygons: ![]() Now my problem when i try to test it, is that there appears to be a wall here: ![]() but there isnt one when i look at the polygons in the game layer i can still slip throuh the door, but after that i cant get up to the base! obviously i havent added turrets yet because its unplayable. if anyone has any idea whats happening, please help me! i want to finish this! |

I have had this happen.
The shapes that are collide-able in altitude have "hulls" (which you probably know). The lines that make up the hulls cannot cross, or (as good as I can explain it) the hull will expand to it's largest dimensions and create an invisible collide-able object, bigger than it looks as far as graphics go. Try editing the hulls of the shapes in that area and see if one has the telltale signs that lines are crossed (it's obvious when editing one- the lines and points change color). If so, eliminate and redraw points of the hull so that they are in a contiguous line. I hope this helps. It seems like the problem to me. Let us know. Since you're using photoshop, I might suggest creating your images in layers with transparent backgrounds. Then when you use the 'import large png' function for the game layer, the altitude engine does the work for you. Believe me, once you try it, you'll never go back. ![]() EDIT: If this doesn't work, and you want to upload a file for us to download, I'm sure there's more than one person who will take a look at it for you. Oh, and the map is awesome. Best thing u hav eva created, if u ask me. 1 suggestion tho. u shud add some health powerups, else it wud be impossible for ppl who dont have repair or r using heavy armour.
