Why in the world would you want to start over? There's absolutely no choice you have to make in terms of levelling - it's not like you need to pick between having Explodet and Miranda, for instance. This 'feature' would serve literally no purpose.

for one thing, levelling and unlocking all the features is fun, and i understand if someone wants to do it again.
another point is that after you've been playing for a long time, your stats become kinda frozen and it takes much longer for, say, your ratio to change even a little. so you can't see if you are improving or not. so, maybe just make an option to reset your stats? or to show several different stats ("overall" and "last month" for example)?

I already dominate newbies on every server, resetting my stats isn't going to change that.

(edit) just realized you probably meant the 25 or under newbie server. I'm sure if prestige mode is added, people who "re-roll" won't be allowed in. It'll function basically the same way as World at War.
