Default Spread the word?

Hello,

I have only been playing Altitude for a few months, and what a fantastic game I must say. Best $10 dollars I have ever spent on a video game. I am clueless as to why more people do not play this game, it is so wonderfully designed and written. I imagine one must have a small passion for a flying little cartoon planes around (I do!)

With that said my question is... Is there a way I can spread the word legitimately so that more people can see and play this wonderful game. Other than the obvious word of mouth & FB. I have even considered buying multiple copies just for monetary support of the game. Also are the developer/s still working on new content or patches for the game? I would love to help advertise Altitude to as many gamers as I see come through my store! Its great for all ages as well.

Maybe retail copies for sale at some point? Thanks! See you in game!!

I can't answer the first question, but as far as patches/new content goes, the developers are fantastic. They implement new features, take in community suggestions, quickly fix any changes that aren't perfect in a patch, etc. They have a real eye for balancing the various planes and modes, which is not an easy thing.

The logs of those patches are in this forum: http://altitudegame.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=15.

You're kidding, right?! Prices change on all sorts of commodities, and while some stores have 30-day guarantees or whatever, name another product that allows you a refund if you overpaid at a much earlier date.

For what it's worth, I was happy to pay $20 at the time. Sure, if you asked me now if I'd rather pay $10 or $20, I'd go for the cheaper price, but I don't regret my purchase.

And what about the Steam sale? $2/copy... take 1000 licenses of the game at $10 and refund every user $8 for the difference (or $18), and the company stands to lose $8000. How is that a smart business practice?

Yep i paid 20 dollars aswel, still the best i ever spend =]
It would be nice though if they could just sell discs including a link to the download and with a full game registration code. It would sure take a while before big shops will sell these but it should sure be worth a try ^_^

If this was a 5$ a month type deal, I would still play it - there would be a lot less players thats for sure!

the 20$ i payed for the altitude code wore the best 20$ I ever spent
This is the only PC game that has NEVER bored me and I keep it playing even after some time ( a year or 2 not sure ) .
Only Final Fantasy managed to keep me attached for it more than altitude
