Just Bought on Steam - Where is the Registration Code to Run the Linux Client?
There seems to be conflicting information on this - I bought the game on Steam but I also would like to play on my laptop which runs Ubuntu. I've downloaded the client but don't know where my registration key is. I don't want to have to buy the game twice if possible.
I'm hoping the information in this post is still valid. |

Just found that post, and it makes me sad... bought the game from Steam after tryin it on a free WE (who can resist, the game is so great!). I found out that it had a linux client too, and got all excited. Tested it yesterday on my netbook under Ubuntu, and it runs smoothly. And then I tried to figure out how to register my copy and... got disappointed
Anyway, you might wanna test this: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w...am_under_Linux Haven't tried it yet, not sure my netbook will be able to handle running the game on non native linux executables :s |

I think there is a possibilty in steam to use, or at least provide a registration key.
I also bought altitude over steam and while I do use windows now, I would like to also be able to use it on a Linux environment :/ |
