Default [Open Source ATI/Radeon Drivers - Arch Linux] Can't start game

Hello i am using the open source ati/radeon drivers because Arch Linux have dropped support for the proprietary catalyst/fxglrx due compalibity problems with the recent Xorg server.

Anyhow i am being told that my video driver is too old, and yes i use the latest avaible video driver, did a sync today. It's wierd that it tells me that my video driver is too old when i have played much more heavier games on this system.
