Default Exp Ranking?
I think we should have an Exp ranking, to see who is at the top of alti!

someone would have to figure out how to do that......kinda sounds like something that tec27 would do.....


so im adding a poll....

you can only answer yes or no.

Exp is maningless, but it wouldn't hurt if it's not hard to accomplish. For curiosity more than anything.

No, this would avoid people who play for years to dominate the top. This would calculate the average XP gained for hour played, meaning that a good recent player would have a chance to compete with the older ones.


Also I vote NO, there's enough whoring as it is.

PS: 1.6M in 520.4 hours not bad, but not good either :P

See the thing is - if you really do have 5 million experience it was gotten by abusing the system - not by playing the game. This is exactly the mentality that makes experience void.

Sure you can come up with ways to get tons and tons of experience really quickly which is what you've obviously done. It is physically impossible to get 5 million experience in 800 game hours without doing something cheap.

If something like this were to ever come out - you'd be on top but why does that matter? It just proves you found some way to get around playing the game legitimately. Is that something to be proud of? No

See the problem with your logic is that you think skills implies finding a way to abuse the system. Sure that's skillful in it's own special way. It does take skill to find out ways to cheat the system. However, that doesn't make you any more skilled in actual gameplay.

It's like when people photoshop their ratios or sit in a server full of noobs for hours and hours in order to get impressive ratios. Does that make them any better? Hardly.

This is why I really want to see an Exp ranking.

So I can see noobs who actaully bothered to "grind" for exp and I can troll them like I troll Death Rod for his ratios.

We don't all need imaginary numbers on the internet, whether it be in ladder or this, to feel good about ourselves and enjoy the game. I hope most of us play this game because we like pewpewing other planes, not because we need to bolster our e-peens.
