ACE level whores

People are taking advantage of co-op servers (MAP: chaos hard) i believe to kill people with missiles and its not co-op its like whoring bots which was banned in the game so this should be to.

real co-op is fun when you have noobs making the game suck and making it so you cant change the map sucks.

There's like millions of noobs with ACE 10 now so who really cares. Back when this was all new it did a bring bit of prestige with it. I find lately I'd rather have my old level 60 badge back to be more unique

Ya i have to agree. Aces mean nothing and don't really feel as cool as the lvl 60 badge.

Thats true but it was a server admin who didn't want the map to be changed and since i was bored and wanted to have some fun with co-op i couldn't.

oooo well ace 5 is the medal of honor which is the highest award in the US military, one was recently handed out to a soldier i beleive in Iraq for rescuing multiple comrade soldiers from some sort of ambush? Details arent quite clear though, but it is the most valued medal....

Did you guys hear about ACE 11? I heard you get this new plane with all perks from all planes combined. It has the highest speed and everything. I'm expecting some concept art from a random poster here soon.

Ace 8 appears to be the South Korean Order of Diplomatic Service Merit badge, aka the Grand Gwanghwa Medal: http://www.medals.org.uk/south-korea/south-korea007.htm

I would never have found this if my asian senses hadn't noticed the center of that medal was the same symbol in the middle of the korean flag - no idea how karlam decided on it either

Speaking as one of the aforementioned noobs, I can tell you that the last thing you want is to (a) place any weight on being a rank X, and that (b) you don't want to be the rank ten that is known for being terrible after hours and hours of play. Rank != clue, as we said in a multiplayer game from before your time.

Also, Boko's 10x right, but didn't go far enough: not only can you (and should you) farm in a well-populated, well-visited server, but don't just do it for the XP. You'll learn a hell of a lot more about the important facets of playing than any scrub farming bots/empties.

What suks is when people try and judge u based on ur ace Level. I just had a nub laugh at me cause I'm ace 1. I then proceeded to kill him several times in 1dm, but that's not the point. Anyone can ace up I they have the time and paitence for it, but it doesn't mean your that much better than everyone else. I don't like to ace up, because my fav Plane is and anchor randa. That doesn't make the xp whore any better than me. So, ace means nothing, at least not anymore.

Let people XP farm all they want. They aren't getting any better and are keeping out of games leaving room for people who actually want to play.

I think it did, at least more than it does now. Twas a time you could reasonably figure a rank ten would be a powerhouse.

I agree that it's no longer the case, but that's merely due to the passing and accumulation of time. I don't disagree that it's broken now as a clue metric.

This thread will do. Been playing altitude for about 6 years now, finally finished Ace 10! I'm officially a Spec Ops diving supervisor. I started acing about a month after ace ranks came out. It took me forever, so i'm pretty proud of it. TBD could really use an xp buff!
