Default Spawned as a turret?

So this is a very strange bug.

I was playing in my server "prose only" and I restarted the map tbd_ctf_asteroids after everyone finished downloading it. When it restarted I somehow spawned as a turret. I couldn't control it - but I get every single kill that a turret does on either side. I can't push enter, f, or pretty much anything else. I did try and submit a bug report but it kicked me out of the server and now is spinning.

I'm not sure how to necessarily replicate this phenomenon but I figured I'd let you know something weird was going on

I'd be so happy if that happened to me. My life's dream is to spawn as a turret like you did Mike. I envy you.

The way I've been playing lately I'd probably do better if I spawned as a turret...

The devs seem to be showing their humerous side.
I think they're getting ready to eat us...

Just letting you know it happened again right now. I simply used the changemap command and I've spawned as a turret again. I can't do any commands - but I can go back to the main menu and type. If someone else restarts the map I'm freed from my turret. I really have no idea what I'm doing wrong here <.<

I think it might be caused by changing maps too fast as I was cycling through them to get a feel for some of the new ones I uploaded.

This is what I use:

If I remember right there's a free demo that allows you to capture videos with a watermark.

Edit: Gen beat me to it :/

Mike, you're not crazy. Pinkshift/Juin says this has happened to him a couple of times too.

What... That is really weird.

I think more testing on this phenomenon is needed.
