Default Cannot connect to Altitude server

Everytime I try logging into Altitude, I get a message saying that I could not connect to the Altitude server and that I should try again in 5 mins time.

I have had this problem for 3 days now. I tried uninstalling then re-installing the game but that didn't work. And my Altitude definately still exists, because my email is "still in use".

Please help!

It could be that your firewall or proxy(if you have a proxy) could be blocking the altitude ports, usually 27272 i think... Try opening that port and see if it works

I'm living in student accommodation (a privately managed tower block), using the building's in house network (public according to my windows firewall), so I don't think I have control over the firewall. Anyway, I've been here four weeks using this network and in that time its been working fine - its only in the last 3 days that Altitude has stopped working.

I will try it though, is it TCP or UDP?

nothing I've tried has worked.

I tried un-installing then re-installing.
I tried turning off my windows firewall.
I tried recovering/changing my password. (Won't connect to the "Login server")
I tried creating a new account (I can't because my email is already in use).

Like I said, I'm living in student accommodation (privately owned & managed flats) using the buildings public network - so if its a problem with that network then I probably can't change its firewall.

I've been playing Altitude fine for the last four weeks on that network though, its only in the last few days that I got this problem.

EDIT: System Restore does not work either.

This is ridiculous, I cannot play online, and it doesn't even tell me why ffs. Theres absolutely no indication as to what the problem may be, just a helpful suggestion to try again 5 mins later.

"cannot connect to Login Server. Please try again in 5 min"
