I have an idea, but im not good with all painting stuff, but this what i wanna suggests, maybe someone will make map and try it.
![]() As tbd, blue team have to destroy red base in X mints, red team should defend it. Maybe idea close to http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5005, but i was remember old Unreal Tournament and game mod Assault. 1.Red base is all floor, so hitting bottom makes direct base hit. 2. Bomb spawns is green dots, its spawns on start. 3. We have 2 neutral spawn points. I dont know, how it works, but in TDM it seems like it spawn planes with same color as planes around of point. 4.Red turrets dont shoot, but making real obstacle, which blue team have to destroy before getting bomb. 5.After spawn teams attack/defend each point of map, when blue remove turrets, they can take bomb and make one hit. Then they go to next point. My ****ty image shows them like tight routes, but it can be done like hangar or point of sniper etc. 6. In fact, after getting one point, they have to move to next bomb, which closer to regular red spawn, makes it harder. |

What caught my attention was neutral spawns. That idea seems fantastically brilliant. Imagine tbd neutrals with neutral spawns. Mmmm...
Turret doors, another concept that wasn't really put into full swing, dumb Jeppew just getting up and leaving. :| Not to insult your image, but I'm having some trouble feeling where things are and such. I see a large hill, with... turrets surrounding a bomb. Wouldn't blue team have to spawn at the top? To bomb red base? While red team is defending from blues invading to get the bomb? |

I tries to imagine some scenario of omaha beach operation, which means blue spawns from boats on beach and red spawns on top, in some sort of machine gun points.
Map should be of course longer, than normal tbd maps. I dont know, maybe this just cannot be realised, but i wish bomb spawn in start once. Which means, blue will fight for respawn point, then deal with turrets and then just go thru tunnel, grab bomb and press S. All bottom of map is red base(i hope, we can make it rly huge). There is a problem. Blue team can cheat, if bomb will respawn again. So they have to make road to only first bomb spawn then wait and hit base 3 times. If it possible, i see this like: Bomb spawn on start, and respawn in 4-40, when time of all round is 5-00 mints. This works only for one of spawns. Other shouldnt respawn at all.That means, if blue team waste one bomb, they still will have chance to hit base. In last minutes of round. If they waste 2 bombs, so, this is their problem = blue team loss. |

I made an attack/defend map with limited bomb spawns, and while it may seem like a good idea, the game becomes pointless after they have run out

ye, imo this is main problem, bomb dont have advanced options, but i think, that can be solved by hiding bomb spawn(in my variant) so someone can easily hit base without chances being killed with bomb
