Just look at the pings for each server to see whether you will lag on them. Aim for below 100 if you can. Other than that get lots of practise on the 1-59 servers (they have ticks next to them) until you are at least level 50, then look for servers with dojo or official in their name, this is where most of the higher level players play. This is a guide for getting into competative altitude (though it might take you a while, it took me ~2 months of sporadic play, but I think I am an exception (and also not that great)) http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4550 For refernce, look at the guides section next time you want guides, it's pretty self-explanatory, also be aware that for the first week at least you are a huge noob and this community is full of nerd ragers with short fuses. Don't act like an 8 year old and you should be fine. |

Also, if you have lots of questions about what buttons do what, go to "Options" then "Controls" and it lists all of the commands with the buttons.
You can see that chatting in-game is default "Return" or "Right Shift" for team chat |
