The "New posts" and the bold text not showing up

Heya.

Sometimes when browsing this forum the threads with new posts don't have the name in bold nor have that icon next to the thread. Rather annoying.
I see some threads with the bold and the icon but most of the threads don't have them.

Any help?

The "New Posts" display system resets after a certain amount of time, not sure how much. If you want to view all threads that have been posted in the last day you have to go to Quick Links > Today's Posts.

Hmm. By briefly examing the posts, I'd say that the timer is only 30 minutes. Isn't that kinda hasty?
