Default Sound problems after update

Hi there, I just bought Altitude (Epicly fun game ) and decided to try out a co-op server.
The game told me to update because the server was running a newer version.
After the update the sound got strange, it started stuttering and what might look like it warps from time to time / speeds up.

This all happened AFTER the update. I tried un-installing the game and reinstalling it again, deleting the Common game files from the Steam folder. But nothing worked. Now I am forced to play without sound for the time being.

I am running Windows 7 64 Bit, with Realtek High Definition Audio drivers.
Is there anyone with the same problem or a similar problem that managed to fix this?

Thanks for the report -- as far as I can tell all Windows 64-bit users are experiencing this issue (any win64 users who aren't?) -- we are working on a fix now.

I am *not* seeing the problem on 32-bit XP. If that helps at all

Default Same problem

Hi,

got the same problem over here, on a Win7 64bit.
But I'm using not Realteak, I'm used to play sounds over
my HDMI-connection (Nvidia). Sound is horrible...
Also tried to uninstall and reinstall via steam. After steam-install
the sound was fine, after achieving the update within altitude
the problem occurs again.

Please fix soon!

Just pushed a minor patch: this should fix any remaining sound issues. Please post here (with OS and architecture -- 32 or 64 bit) if you continue to experience sound issues.

Default Sound works again - Thanks!!!

Me once again. Problem seems to be fixed on Win7-64bit via NVidia-HDMI.
Good job and thanks to the developers who provided the fix so fast!

But I'll try the patch this evening, but I guess by the reactions it's fixed now!

Great job team!

EDIT: GREAT IT WORKS! AWESOME!
