Default Maps won't download completely

I reformatted my computer and installed Altitude. Unfortunately, I didn't think to backup my maps directory, so now when I connect to a server, Altitude downloads the map (e.g. ball_cave). It gets through most of the download but hangs at the very end. I can esc out of the download and return to the server list, but most (not all) of the servers I connect to have this issue. These are servers I play on frequently.

I realize I could -- and will -- download a map package that contains everything I need, but I'd like to solve the problem because I imagine it might happen again when I try to download a new map via a server I am connecting to.

Edit: Removed MySystemInfo.txt attachment from post after solution was found.

What is the path on your computer to Altitude? Make sure it is installed tgleaf/Desktop not OtherUser/Desktop etc

I've had this problem when Altitude was in another computer account and I played it from there.

What? You install Applications to your Desktop? Not always a wise idea, although it should work okay for you most of the time.

No, I have Altitude installed in the default location: /Applications/Altitude.

Edit: You're sort of right. I installed it from another user account on the machine and the permissions are wrong. Disk Utility did not fix the problem via a Repair Permissions, but I'm sure if I reinstall it from my account it will work.

Okay, thanks Ajuk.
