Repeat thread from like a month ago. On a related note, I believe you can still hear the old music when you go to the hangar deck. I'm not sure though, because I've had music disabled for a year and a half now >_>

yep i think you can still hear it in game. afaik it's in the credits section not the hangar deck (omfg there's a credit section?!? yes there is and you can see stuff like maimer/redshift credited for maps, vi credited for music, and snowsickle credited for balance lulz)

You can hear Vi's theme (with singing) by opening Credits from the Main Menu.

If you'd like this theme to play when you start the game, go into the folder

C:\Program Files\Altitude\resources\dist\.sound\sounds\music

And replace title_theme.ogg with credits.ogg (for example, rename title_theme.ogg to old_title_theme.ogg, copy-paste credits.ogg, rename to title_theme.ogg)

how can we get the instrumental one to play as the opening music?

You can use any music file, you just need to convert it to OGG format. You can download the mp3 from Vi's site and use any audio program that converts mp3 -> ogg.

i love this theme it gave altitude its cartoonish feel
the moment i heard this when i started playing i was like i can't get tired of it even when i got kicked so often
the orchestrated music with a midi feel its awesome
yeah who wouldn't old sounds? btw my dist folder is empty why?

Yeah, same for me, dist folder is empty

If you can't find the directory you probably have "hide files starting with a ." in your OS settings. You should be able to access the folder by pasting the full path into your address bar, e.g. select the below

C:\Program Files\Altitude\resources\dist\.sound\sounds\music

press "Ctrl+C" to copy, then "Ctrl+V" to paste into your address bar.
