Current Business:

This coming weekend or the weekend after fLb hopes to hold a mogulus streamed Bo5 to raise competitive Altitude awareness. The original opponents were to be team ZS but they are having complications and are being replaced by the recently formed team MH. We are still working out a precise time as the opponent switch was so sudden. We are currently seeking unbiased 3rd party assistants to shout cast the match and also to stream it (guide available if your interested for setting it up). We have a vent server for shoutcasters to use aswell.

Mogulus streaming guide:

Hey, I would like to try out a shoutcast position.

Awesome job Kuja.
If you want I can try to commentate. I've done some commentaries in french for starcraft games, but that was in french and my english isn't perfect.
It's up to you.
Maybe Tec could be available, he not only recorded both TS vs ITW and ACE vs V, but did some commentaries for the first match as well.

I want to either record or shoutcast.

EDIT: actually my computer isn't powerful enough to record, nevermind. I still want to shoutcast though.

For shoutcasting it be awesome to have a duo or trio so several spots available for that. What we really need is someone who thinks they have a comp capable of streaming, I may setup an fpview of me if we dont find one but id rather have an overview.

Live streaming is somewhat difficult for this game. I never got it working without a fair amount of lag.

Hey, if people are willing to set up a show match, I think it'd be really cool to do another one that just features the best of the best of the community instead of any particular team from the tournament. Not sure what the best way to figure this out is, but I like the idea. Had some fun games last night where EVERYONE was good and you had **** like Blank getting less than a 1:1 ratio, which is pretty crazy. I'd love to see that same population but in a 5v5 setting and with some pride on the line.

Sounds like something to toss in the future project box. While our intention is to encourage competitive play there is faggylittlebear pride at work and we like to show off lol. Or if you'd like to spearhead that Diogenes id be glad to help out in whatever way I could.

yeah I don't think I'll be spearheading anything, that sounds like it'd require actual work.

Dog's 'Best Of' idea sounds a little bit like an Altitude PuG, maybe it could be done in that fashion and therefore be pretty easy to set up.

All you need is to convince the ten people to show up at the agreed time at the designated passworded server, then divide them into two teams. Whammo, instant 5v5.

I'd be up for that

Sorry Kuja, I have been on, I just didn't want to post the roster yet because we didn't have 5.

And still don't but will by this weekend, hell or high water. Worst case, we'll just get someone to slut for us.

Or a scrim ? I think we did but I actually don't remember lol.

fLbSS v FN best of 3 has been played.

I politely ask all those who know the results of the match to please not spoil them until I have had time to edit and produce the videos of the match. Due to youtube 10 minute timelimit I will have to split them in to multiple videos.

well, just fyi Kuja, we of V3 are itching for a rematch. The only reason we have yet to issue a challenge of any kind is b.c. 2 of our group and myself of us are goin kinda far away soon, and have been generally busy recently. But when we get back, we're game. (probably about 3 weeks)

(basically im just sayin that its not that we're just scared ^^ )

I have an amusing bear story.

My friend went to Greenwich University, which is a less academically famous and less demanding university with correspondingly more lax entry requirements.
Some of the students on his course (Philosophy) were those from privileged backgrounds who had urinated some of their promise and money against the wall. This was an accommodating atmosphere to try again.

One of these richer students was fat. He was not too confident. And, oddly, he found that he was accepted most by fat gay men. They were Bears. So he joined them.

The sad thing was that he was not actually gay.

It would have been easier if he'd just talked to more girls rather than try to identify with the men who found him attractive.

I'm up for any kind of match, but it has come to my attention that my ISP is probably going bankrupt. So my internet connection is prone to vanishing for hours at a time, with no warning .
