Ping indicators give different values

Heya.

My internet connection was down so I decided to use my HSPA one.
The ping indicator in the lower left part of the screen gives different values than the one in the tab screen.

Those pics were taken right after each other.
The HSPA connection in general is very unstable. I havn't tested with my normal connection.

The bottom left number represents the round-trip time of your last ping packet; the number on the tab screen is your "official Altitude ping" displayed to others, used to determine ping kicks, etc. The official ping comes from a rolling average of recent ping packets with penalties for dropped packets.
