spot on about opposition, some very good players.
to me the team needs to round itself out, as we all start to fill the roles and get comfortable with each other i believe this will happen. we have some good players and as we all start to get used to each others positioning and preferences i think it could go very well.

its a pleasure playing with you all....pats on backs all round LF'ers

Just a heads up, I'm gonna be away again from the 27th to the 30th (next weekend), but will be around this weekend if any scrimming/practise sessions are happening.

I'll be back on Saturday but I might be away in the evening.

How about 11 AM GMT Saturday? Even if I can't make if but we have enough LF members go ahead with the practice and scrim (although I'd love to be there).

We will have a practice session, some tips, maybe play some randoms.

This time we will try offer each other points on where we think we could improve in a constructive way.

Everybody please post availability for Jan 22, Saturday 11 AM GMT, 12 (Central Euro Time)

Yeah I'll be there.

And I'll make sure I avoid the temptation to ace before then

I won't install mumble until I'm back in Germany (Jan 28th at the least).

If other LF members want to install it, they can do so.

@TwistedDucky: Thanks for the links.

Default Mumble

I've downloaded it. It's a little confusing but I'm sure I'll figure it out tomorrow.

Yes this will be a good help initially but I hope we will all develop our game to flow naturally after a while, without having to prompt for passes But mumble certainly will be of good help

Also I hope mumble doesn't have much effect on our pings while playing.

We played a round or two with AIR (mixed with a couple of AA folks) and sub'd in Valkyr!e for us. We one first round Core and lost the labrynith. Then people started leaving and stuff...

gRim where did you go? You left right when it was 12 CET . Maybe you got the time wrong?

Anyway, yet another game we had to substitute someone not in LF. I hope next time we can get 6 LF guys

I want to thank Thorn, Nummer5 and ragno for some solid mid-field and defence work.

We missed gRim and Aspharanx on offense and I think we can get some really good games going.

Hey no problems gRim, we can find better timings from next time on. Guess this was a good old time zone misunderstanding

Next time I'm putting an alarm on so I don't have to think that much. Funny thing, I was bored as **** during that time. :/

Anyways, I tried mumble with ducky and it works fine. Only draw back is my pronunciation of engl.

After we got numerous complaints in our practice match that "you guys need a lobby", we will soon be getting a lobby for our private server.

I've already gone ahead and made it (image provided by Thorn). It took a fewhours to figure out the Map Editor (especially the layers and how to make collidable objects) but I really like the end result.

I even figured out how to make a bouncy trampoline like AIR's private server but I thought let's not be copy cats It involves adjusting the Damage modifier property and such. Anyyyway,..

I will try to get our lobby installed in the private server soon.

Someone (and I know who) has contacted Brutal on our behalf and given him the wrong lobby despite my saying I'm making one. Nice. I'll talk to Brut and give him the new lobby when he's online

Our new lobby is online. gogogogo.

I also want to specially thank ExiTeD for making our previous lobby but due to a misunderstanding in communication I had to make a new one. My apologies and sincere thanks to ExiTeD.

Hey gRim, I'm in touch with FC to see if we can arrange a scrim. (Mostly after 31st January).

But even otherwise, how about we try to get 6 folks for a scrim on Sunday? Suggest a time gRim (or anyone else).

So hopefully if things go well, I am mostly free all day Sunday (EU times!! as I will be back in Germany) so anytime except very late at night will be fine (since I have work the next day).

Suggest a time for Sunday...

As far as for this practice scrim on Sunday, I'm available any time afternoon, I would suggest 18 or 19pm GMT as a good time. But, for that scrim on Wednesday I'm afraid I can't make it. I have jiu jitsu training just about that time.
Monday - Saturday 20:45pm-22:15pm + 45min (GMT) I'm unavailable cause of trainings. It's no biggie, I'll skip this one out. But, we could start recording matches. That way I could see it later.

I have the same long term availability Rag (8 GMT actually) so that is fine.

@gRim: I take it you can't make this scrim No problems, but our scrims on weekdays will most likely be 7, 8 or 9 GMT.

@Nummer5: No problem Thanks for updating here. We'll miss you sniplane pew-pew!
