=Format=

Pwned! will be run over 2 Sundays, 20th Feb + 27th Feb.

The idea was to create a competitive tourney with a fun element as well.


=Sunday 20th Feb=

Double elimination bracket, *BO3 with 1 point awarded for each round won. In the event of more than 1 team holding the same points at the end, a tiebreaker will be played. *In the event of a tiebreak the two teams decide between them as to which BO the play.


=Sunday 27th Feb=

Full random 5v5 TBD single elimination bracket.
Teams will be seeded as per week 1, with the winner of week 1 getting a bye for the 1st round of week 2.

-Note that words marked with a *, are updates to the OP.

-Map pools to be released very soon.

-Brackets and times to be released on Sunday13th Feb.

-All teams guarantee to play both weeks, the brackets will be treated as individual events, however week 1's results seed the teams for week 2.

-The overall winner will be the team that won most rounds over both weeks.

Leagues are different. Just because one has a roster cap doesn't mean they all do. I do not see a roster cap but it would be nice to know.

No roster cap, simply because as the aim of this event, apart from having fun, is to warm up teams for the real deal.

Class, it's a small point, but I believe most high schools in the states have break that week, and players may be away that first weekend. If it's just me, go ahead, but if it's not, I would like to kindly ask that you could push it back a week.

The reason for (preferred time zone) is so that i can build the brackets to suit teams best i can. Having said that though, regardless of times, captains are free to re-arrange to a better time, same day obviously.

Lets use our common sense on this one York, we have all taken part in enough league / tourney events to know how it works by now.

IL in the tourney would be preferred, and maybe, just maybe you might find time to fix that attitude of yours. <3

Veri, its for fun, its split into two catagories, i wont be able to check if everyone is using full random, its up to us all to police it =)


Edit: Andy should be posting the map pools soon so tune in for that. I'll end Registration this coming Sunday, so the brackets and times will be out for Sunday night (GMT). Expect though that the games will start around 8PM GMT (Altitude time)

This will also be a chance to competitively test new maps so that we can get some good feedback on them.

I reckon I can probably play some of these, provided my labs don't clash. I tried to book a doctors appointment today (I shut my finger in a door and keep losing all feeling), and I had to book one for 2 weeks time, because I always have labs/lectures 9 - 5 . SOOOO BUSY (although to be fair I would have more free time if I wasn't so addicted to alti)
