Alert for spec when 6 v 5

Basically, in ladder when one player does not realize that they are in the game, a small alert will show up on their screen (similar to the "teams: 6 v 5" one) that will tell them that they are the spec that needs to join. Even though a lot of times the person is simply AFK, i also see plenty of people who just thought that they weren't in the game.

THOUGHTS?

ssd, i realize you could just press f. as for as it goes for me... im dissapointed when i get specd and i simply spam f over and over even though it is telling me i am a spec. BUT, there are tons of people who don't join and then 5 min later, finally press f. If there was a simple warning, the second they looked at their screen, one would realize they should be in the game.

sounds like a personal problem to me

don't know why you would join a ladder game and not expect to be in. probably need to start enforcing that a bit tighter, actually

ok... trying to say this once again... ITS NOT MY PROBLEM. I ALWAYS KNOW WHEN I AM IN A GAME! its for the other people who don't always know and even though its their problem, (and i dont actually care about them at all), this affects everyone else when they don't realize that they are in a game. BEcause, we have to deal with playing 5 v5 and one person doesn't get to play. So! even though its their fault and their problem, this one help out every1 else who has to suffer for their lack of awareness.

Yes, it's frustrating. It's also a bannable offense to join a ladder game and then spec the entire time. So just report it (with screenshots) and the admins will take care of it.

Your idea isn't bad, but there is a system in place for handling this. Who knows why people spec in ladder, and who knows if such a notice would even help, but I'm certainly not against improvements to ladder organization.
