Other Flight-Multiplayer games?

So are there any more games like altitude? (in 3D with sci-fi theme)

I've seen EVE online.
The experience system seems retarded: You get XP when you're not playing the game... waiting for some bar to fill up.
Instead of improving your flying-, aiming-, tacitc skils in-game.

Also the payment system doesn't suit me; it's pay per month... while you're spending time waiting for your xp to gain... no thnx. I rather pay (any amount) once and get my personal account so I can get good at the game.


Jumpgate Evolution: no clue but I hope its better.

Suggestions?
(btw i'm on a Mac, but doesn't have to be a problem)

DogFighter not sure about sci-fi, but its alititude in 3D. Also lot of flight simulators have multiplayer mode - HAWX2, Top Gun, Wings of Prey, IL-2 Sturmovik. All of these games for Windows tho

However watch out because most online flight sims are mostly about turning in circles to avoid getting shot.
