Is lost city still in ladder rotation? I feel like I haven't played it in forever and that map is really sick. If it is close this thread please.

I agree. SSD, what are you doing.

Lost city was only bad when people had no idea how to play it. One of the maps which better rewards map awareness and teamwork imo.

I found it very enjoyable to play, good teamwork on that map feels so satisfying. Please bring it back.

this was voted upon here.

at the time the plan was to remove one of those three maps considering the similarities among them and replace them with a team bomb map. it was actually my favorite map out of the three. i haven't had the time or the required effort to organize serious testing of maps, so the pwned tournament was extremely helpful to me. i intend to go through the feedback from the games and hopefully retool the map pool before season 2 starts. if none of the team bomb maps that have been thoroughly tested is ready, i'm fine with bringing LC back.

if you want maps tested, why not just force the map pool to be maps a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h on a given day or week.

spam's really annoying on the map, but i never really had a huge problem with lost city; i just voted it because i felt it had more flaws than fallout/woods in that games can take a while and sometimes games come down to "spam through the chokes and once two are dead, push." Lack of symmetry in the middle is weird too, in that right side gets a hop that the left doesn't and an easier way to shoot up at people in left side's middle, while left gets a little bit of momentum going for a bomb run there? idk

2. ladder's not a map testing server? i'm fairly sure people would be ticked off having to play untested maps for ladder points. maybe less so in the season 1 offseason, but season 2 is fast approaching.

neutral maps blow in general

especially given the forced-spec code that was put into ladder, maps should be let into the pool based on 1) how good they are and 2) how long they take

look at the list of longest ladder games. like 90% of them are neutral maps. this **** isn't fun for people who have to spectate, especially when someone vag's out and forces a specchat. average game is what, 10 minutes? unless teams are hella IMBA, neutral maps almost always take longer than team maps. dumbdumbdumbdumbdumb

ye i miss LC too... it makes no sense to me why LC isnt in rotation but mdg is... LC is a decent map and mdg is god awful...

I'm not trading a neutral bomb map for a team bomb map. I've said this many, many times.

I'm currently trying to push assembly out, but the general consensus seems to be that very few people actually like it. If you want lostcity back, I'm removing one of woods or fallout.

Wait now, MG is the most fun map that requires stratedgy/coordination and also finishes quick (for those who can't handle a lengthy game for whatever reason).
