Default resolution altered after closing Altitude

I just recently started using the native resolution of my monitor [2560x1600]. I've had no problems with this change when playing Altitude, but on two separate occasions, after closing the Altitude application my resolution will have reverted to 800x600. Attempting to return the resolution to 2560x1600 does not work, the screen will flicker for a moment then return to 800x600. If I reset my computer I'm once again able to return to 2560x1600.

Any idea what might be causing this?

What Video Card / OS are you running? You might try updating video drivers, running Altitude at a different resolution (2560x1600), or running Altitude in windowed mode.

GeForce 8800 GTX, Vista.

Video drivers are up to date, I'll try running Altitude at a higher resolution...

Haven't had any issues since increasing the in-game resolution to 2560x1600. Thanks =].
