New youtube channel ...

... where I'll be playing gaimz !
You may remember that I posted about New Vegas a couple months ago, saying that I might record me playing it and post it on youtube. Well, that's pretty much it, except it won't be only NV.
There's really not a lot of stuff right now but I plan on adding at least 1 new video every day. Also, I was kinda not very familiar with the whole thing in the first videos so the quality is a bit lower than what you could expect in the following videos.
Right now it's only NV, probably gonna take a few months to finish completely this one, as the game is pretty long, but I'll quickly play through Portal 1 and post it in the following days so that everyone can get ready for Portal 2 when it's released in a couple of weeks (shoutout to SSD).
I have many other ideas of games that could be fun and I'm open to suggestions.
So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy and feel free to tell me that I suck and what I could improve on (don't judge on only the first few videos though). All constructive criticism is welcome.

tyr i suggest you also work with dre who makes many gaming videos and I could love to help in the minecraft popularity side of gaming and altitude.

Ya thats what im saying i can do the minecraft/ altitude videos and dre has CoD and many many other games he plays that can help out.

I don't consider footage of multiplayer CoD/Minecraft as LPs.
LPs have to be solo in my opinion, or coop but with a ending. This disqualifies minecraft (and to be honest, I find the game fairly boring at the present state). As for multiplayer cod/altitude/insertrandommultiplayergamehere, it's too random plus I actually have to get good at the game in question in order to make it interesting. Yeah sure I'm good at altitude but I already have a channel for that in which there are several videos of me playing in first person.

So this is indeed gonna be a single player LP channel. I'll probably play and upload the whole Portal 1 this weekend as the game is fairly short. Portal 2 next week, can't wait !

Planning on doing some twoplayer portal casts tyr? Those would probably be more interesting than singleplayer as there is people interacting. It would probably require heavy editing though as sitting around for an hour trying to figure out one room might get a bit boring to watch. heh.

In other news, you watching French x-factor? My English friend is on it, getting pretty deep now. ^_^

Yeah I'll do the coop as well, probably with a french friend, not sure about this yet though. I'll start with singleplayer and do the coop when I got everything concerning my partner figured out. And no, probably no editing, or minimal.

I haven't been watching X-Factor. I almost don't watch TV at all to be honest, and those kind of music shows tend to piss me off and annoy me more than anything else lol.

Here we go with Portal 2

It's _obviously_ full of spoilers (no kidding, im playing the freaking game), so if you plan on playing it yourself in the near future, I recommend you don't watch it.
If not, well ... The game is amazing so far (I've played like 2 hours) and I'm really having a lot of fun.

I know people who have played both penumbra and amnesia and they say that amnesia is much, much more scary. I consider(ed

) myself a quite fear-resistant person but jesus christ this game just turns me into a giant manbaby. 5 minutes in the game I was already freaking out and it just keeps getting worse and worse. My typical playing session:

1. Start the game, quit after 5 seconds
2. Gather courage for 5 minutes and then start it again, play for 15 minutes.
3. 3 hour break, back to 1.

So yeah, while it is scary it makes for some really awesome LPs if you do it blindly without spoiling yourself. Go for it man

The water-monster in the demo convinced me that a) the game is awesome and b) there was no way I was going to buy it because it was so scary.

Actually from what I've seen so far the whole game is full of small funny things like that. Video 2 coming up in a few minutes.
From there I think I'll upload one (or two at most) part a day.

Some games work fine and some don't and you never know if the keys are good or not even if you see the right ones lol

Yeah lol. Once I didn't understand it was the mapping that was wrong and played a few rounds only being able to move left and backwards. I still got a couple of kills
