Default The missing 'A' button

As we've all grown accustomed to the S D F + arrows controls, I can't help myself but wonder what the original function of the 'A' key used to be.
Maybe it was some sort of super nuke (exclusive to dogfighter, which explains the disbalance)?
Maybe it was used for a buttcannon for a loopy?
Maybe it was used to make your plane explode in a suicidal fashion?

Share your imagination.

"A" is what you remap "S" to when you've played >1 video game prior to Altitude.

Discuss.

The button I switched to after I started suspecting that I'd broken my S key. Also, the small distance prevents me from accidentally dropping a bomb if my finger slips off the D key.

F key has that small bulge on it. I take it that it's easier to locate your 3 keys when there is that small landmark.

...of course you could always look down in case you have trouble finding your shooting key...

I thought it was only E? and it only worked if you were already upside-down, I believe.

As do you.

If I had to hazard a guess, with a 3 button control scheme based around the home row keys, you're going to use your 3 best fingers: index, middle, and ring. Pinky sucks for gaming.

My nintendo thumb is pretty pro too. Space would be excellent for using powerups..
