Spec Algorithm

I know this has been reported already, but I can't for the life of me find the thread.

I got specced 3 times in a row yesterday on ladder 1, each time I checked the chat log and I did join before the game started. Here's the best bit, there were only 18 players in the server (so I should have been specced once at the most) and some people got to play all 3 games. You can ask others in the server to verify this, there was a fair bit of rage on my part after the third spec.

if you join immediately before the game custom starts (like literally by the skin of your dick) it's like you never joined at all.

as far as i know, absolutely nothing has changed in the spec formula from last season. all of these problems with the formula are completely imaginary. QQ less, join up in lobby earlier, start a new ladder if the server is full.

You did join too late the last time you got specced and the game before you forgot to get in.

Well I definitely did get in all games, and the message from the server 'IL|Rib|AH joined the red team' occurred before several other people joined, some of which got to play.

You probably know this, but just in case: when the map changes to lobby, everyone starts out in spec. You have to press f in the ladder lobby, not during the previous game's results screen.

I got spec'ed after watching a full match. I check there were only 18 ppl in the server at that time.

Also i am spec'ed almost every game after i play a game. Nobo please be so kind as to remove the ****ing line out of our code that states:

it doesn't take into account whether you sat the previous game. people tend to leave after games, and new people take their place. 10 people other than you that did not play in the game before got into the game.

yeah i checked that as well. 1 person left after the game that i watch, and co-coincidently that person was you ssd. lol
