Hi all, first post and first map, so be gentle

Edit. V2 now updated. Shrunk all the obstacles down. Changed appearance and frequency of middle obstacles. Outline also changed (stroke removed, darken applied to edges).

Edit. V3 now updated. V3 = ball_mars V1. People were saying that it looked too similar to asteroids texture wise, hence the change. Middle obstacles shrunk again.

Edit. V4 now updated. Changed middle obstacles to stop map wide spamming - thanks Ribilla for suggestion.

Edit. V5 now updated. Again changed the middle objects give more room - bots now don't get so confused. Changed some textures a bit and also edit some edges.

I don't plan on doing any more to it now unless anyone spots something earth shatteringly bad. My last thought is that smoke from planes is hard to see on the black background, would it be better to swap that out for a dark gray with stars? Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback, either here or in game.

Looks like a great first effort!

Minuses:
The spacing between objects is too narrow. That middle section with all of the blocks is going to be too treacherous for almost any plane. The spawns are a bit too close to the rocks nearby.

Pluses:
I like the moon theme and graphical appearance. You can make some interesting shots off of the middle "tunnel" approaching the goal since it's not too smooth.

Misc:
The map feels a bit small, but it's always hard to judge when it's 1v1 instead of 6v6.
Lol watching the bots try to figure out where to go...

Edit: one bot had the ball and was flying in a continuous circle at the bottom center of the map and another bot was only flying straight up, slowly. lol

First impressions say that that middle bit definitely needs work, but other than that is shows promise.

The graphics for the squares in the middle was tricky - if I left it the same as all the other obstacles then it became too similar colour-wise to the background image. So I opted for a sci-fi white square look, not sure if it fits or not, so might change the style, but I think it will have to stay white.

Uploaded it on the test server and had a play around today, was a good feeling

Looks cool, one worry is that it looks possible to spam some shots (HC, whale missiles, etc) across the entire length of the map, from goal to goal.

Mapa name: Moderators can change that for you. Make it bold.
You have an option in the editor to make the smoke gray.

Hey, man. I don't know who are u but ur map is nice. I like it very much.


About Minuses: Yes, i'm agree with tgleaf about spawning place. It too narrow. Anyway i'm looking forward for ur other maps.
