ball spawn after leaving game

I am not sure if this is considered a bug but i am posting it here anyway... During a ladder game a few hours a go i passed the ball to my teammate who was very close to scoring;however,he/she lost the connection or left the game, etc. The ball disappeared from the screen a little bit and then spawned. That would have been fine... except for the fact that our entire team was at the enemy goal... and the ball spawned in front of the enemies spawn, they immediately took it and one the game... I would think in this sort of situation the ball should spawn in the center, at the very least, and also players should be reset. I just don't think it is reasonable that we should immediately lose because of this (the score was 5-4), especially considering the 5 seconds it took the ball to spawn was not enough for the teams to become even again. So with our entire team sitting at enemy goal, they got the ball to spawn in front of their spawn AND 6 v 5 they scored...
