Default ball_empire

Here's another one

Most of all i tried to made it fast. Shots look maybe to easy but, gotta wait for testing...
I was lazy and didnt check on usual ball maps dimensions - maybe i made it too short.
Dimensions: 3000x1206px
I somehow used ball_planepark space (tx almighty, once again) as a reference. Tried to create some cussion fast lanes (not sure if this makes any sense to you...).

Can be played in Map test server.

Please test and comment.

TX

I don't really understand the graphics yet but I'm sure they will be awesome. Layout looks pretty interesting, and unique, can't wait to play.

Had a quick play on this today.

I like the layout of the objects the border and and spacing seems great. I really like the dotted circle around the goal, a nice touch.

Not really keen on the photo in the background though it seems very serious and somber. Feels a bit weird flying over peoples faces in cartoon planes - but that's just my opinion.

Other than that it looks sweet! Nice one.

Well, I was just wondering if he was going to do anything more with it and what he was going to do.

Im not into any changes at the moment. Well see when more feedback comes. I like its fresh dark and soft look.
People on the background are nothing but noise (as texture). A crowd was what 1st came to my mind when i thought of the empire. I think it isnt too evident when we play because its some how deformed - it fades into the dark background; imo, it doesnt afect play.
I thought of calling it hempire, or hemphigher, but im not to fond of green

PS. an hemp park would be nice

few thoughts:

1) the object attached to the goal...it's not totally obvious that it is collidable.

2) there is a distinct lack of "large" obstacles in this map. from my experience, the primary issue that arises from smaller obstacles is time anchor (and randa, in general) dominance, as they can change sides of the obstacle in a heartbeat.

i might suggest some larger obstacles...but it's difficult to say without getting a 6v6 on it to test.

otherwise, as usual, it looks awesome.

3-point arc!

Can't wait to try this... glad you're still making maps, mandrad.

I support the idea of larger obstacles, as you said, you need marandas to commit at certain points in their venture towards a goal or it becomes dink and dunk.

If you can get a map on dojo, you can hear/witness all the feedback you need. Idk where krawz is though.

EDIT:

Didn't realize how compact and fluid the map was, played it today I enjoyed it very much
