i dunno mang, i usually just turn on the album and listen to it in order. it's more atmospheric than individual songs. most popular justice song is probably D.A.N.C.E, but i personally like phantom pt 2 :3

well I should've figured I wouldn't be taken serious here.....I listen to many different types of music. I spent my life working for chain music stores. ( i even played in a punk band back in the day...). But I realized what you need to become famous. and I realize why the MAJORITY of people like this stuff. because peoples mind WANT to follow a formula.

Nickelback sounds like nobody from say, 20 years ago. No one. why? because they looked over top 10 hits from the past 30 years and studied them to see what made them so special. he took that concept, and combined it with a pearl jam influence (something that they never could do correctly, hence their lack of stardom)
Nickelback took everything about a top 40 song, and perfected it. you talk about music evolving, if everyone took a dump onstage and fed it through a ****ty P.A. system, thene every band would sound like punk garbage. kind of like almost EVERY band DOES sound like at the ****ty rock venues.
so what difference does it make.

You were reading too much into my post. I never said I wasn't taking you seriously. You had said that the top 10 hits are hits for a reason. That's generally true because the media feeds people garbage pop music, because yes most pop songs are garbage, and they just eat it up IMO

I actually agree with SSD. Nickelback are popular because they are good, what else can you judge music on. At the end of the day music is just a bunch of sounds thrown together, what right does anyone have to say that one particular bunch of sounds are better than another?! Music is entirely subjective and therefore the best judge of how 'good' something is, is popularity.
