Word Censoring

Can there be an option to censor the chat? In the old Altitdue, the censored words were listed in a text file; that would be nice here, too.

Lamster said it would be in the next patch. And he did add person mute but yeah a word filter would be good because some people never stop talking about crap you dont want to hear.

yeah, i'm pretty sure half the players have already muted me.

i have lol, i think it unmutes every time you restart the game so as long as you stop you wont be muted

This has been added in the latest patch (released June 25th 2008).

Please try it out under options->general->Filter Swear Words and let us know if this is sufficient.
