Its like a wannabee minecraft who got bullied at school, and so resorts to putting in tons of monsters and stupid crap, when really all its trying to be is as cool as minecraft.

Not that minecraft is "cool".

It seems like people like it. I think, i gonna buy it, if 2-3 players from our minecraft altitudians get it as well
Btw, how multiplayer works for it? Same as minecraft by inserting IP address? Or server browser?

i got it gifted, seems pretty meh so far (only got around to building a wooden house, though)

only being able to build in 2D kind of limits the creativity. haven't tried MP yet though.

No, just no. This game is not minecraft, I would say it is the same genre as minecraft, but it is definitely not minecraft. Terraria is more about the adventure aspect of the game whereas minecraft is more the building aspect. Let me point out a few differences. NPCs, does minecraft have NPCs that let buy things from them, or NPCs that teach you how to play? I think not. What about grappling hooks? Power ups? Boss fights? Demon eyes? Giant worms? Multicolored slimes? Mining helmets? Hammers? Exploding trees? Currency? Flaming arrows? And that is only what I could think of off the top of my head.
Although i can see why you may think this, as This was bound to happen with the next game that looked even remotely like minecraft.

Anyone on the verge of buying this game I recommend you buy it, it is way worth ten dollars.

thanks massi. i am considering buying this game... wanted to ask though, what is the offline/solo gameplay like? is it also a good experience or is it moreso tailored to be a multiplayer game?

it's like minecraft in that it's fun in single player, but infinitely more fun playing with friends. you can bring stuff you find from the single player campaign into multiplayer (and vice versa), though. i'm sure most server hosts would rather you create a new character just for their server.
