Hello, again! I'm back with a new ball map that I call ball_pipeworks.
Take a peek: ![]() Download Here! Goals: - I wanted to do something fundamentally different than other maps I've seen in altitude. Given that the game provides horizontal wrap-around on the maps, I decided to make pipeworks take advantage of this ability fundamentally. My hope is that it gives a sense of drama/suspense because you can't be sure what's waiting on the other end of the pipe. - I wanted to flex some new photoshop muscles I've developed as of late. Hopefully the look is convincing! Concerns: - Whales might be too strong if they camp the wrap-around pipes. - The map feels small, even though it is a decent size (3500x1280) because it is split in two. The Future: - Get it up and tested! - If the wrap-around idea (which was kind of my whole motivation, heh) proves to be unworkable, I can just swap the halves and turn it into a more conventional map. I'm excited to hear feedback! Cheers, Manatee |

Nice graphics and layout, but I don't see this ever being a competitive play map (for scrims, etc).
Good work though! |

Really cool idea, where the only way to get to the other side is the pipe. I agree with ajuk, don't see this as a serious map, although I haven't played it yet, it could be. Simple yet cool graphics, nice job.

Yeahhh, I was afraid of that, haha. If this opinion still holds after people have played it a bit, I'll switch it up so it doesn't use the wrap-around.
