Default All Star Tutors {*T}

This is an addition to the "clan" {ET} Eternal Tutors who were designed to help newer players, learn about this fine game. I sense {ET} is not doing enough and i feel like i as one of the top players in altitude, should design a program to teach those willing about anything they desire about the game.

The purpose of this "team" is to teach players certain planes, skills, tricks, and anything related to the game of altitude.
I have already helped many player who have asked me for assistance and clans as well. This is of course for any form of altitude, any game mode and any type of skill a player would like to learn.

To become a tutor just PM me and il see if you should qualify, i would like this to be known more just so players who wish to improve their game know where to come.

Good to see so much interest shown here. P.S. Having Mumble will help

I will have both game modes with various tutors for each mode and planes in that mode. (Max amount of Tutors will be 15 (for now))
Dont be afraid to PM the tutors asking for a time to meet and ask in-game if you would like to practice. If a tutor says they wont practice with you without a good reason then they will be removed from the list of tutors.

List of Tutors:

*mled: General strategies (ball/TBD) Planes: Bomber/Loopy and when no other tutors are available any other planes except TA.
*Genesis/Greekjr: Heavy Canon mainly
*Ball'n / Tmic: Ball and TBD Miranda Tutors. TimeAnchor/Trickster.
*Rib: TBD laser Tutor. How to attack various planes and positioning.
*Nikon: Ball General Tactics and mainly bomber/light planes
*tgleaf: Ball Strategies and loopy acid
*Vesuvius: TBD gameplay and defending/pushing/Countering flankers
*Classicallad: Ball/TBD Thermo/defending goal and positioning
*Andy: General gameplay.

List of Students

TBD
leoman: HC or Remote advice
Grapepedo: Bomb Running/Loopy
Veritas: TA Running/Laser
Dark Sage: Heavy Canon/Loopy
Lemon: Trickster

BALL
Tekn0: Trickster movement/positioning and killing
Ragnorak: General Ball strategies and Trickster
IamJagman Miranda trickster

General Plane vs Plane/Teams

Ajuk: Flak and Thermo
TwistedDuck: Bomb Running/ Explodet Remote
Unbreak: General Bomber
Princess Squirtle: Loopy/Bomber/Remote
Yank: Loopy and Bomber General Tactics
DMCM: Remote
Jeff airlines bomber

I'd be interested in getting tutored on Flak and/or Thermo. I know the basics and am a very fast learner.

I think this is at least partially designed for none easy-mode (i.e. TBD)

Is this only TBD or ball?

In any case, I'd like some/any/all of the Top Randas in the game to see where I can improve with my randa in Ball. I'm not interested in TBD.

I play Trickster Turbo or UltraCap depending on the map.

Basically something like spectate me during a ladder game and suggest what I could've done better.

Thanks!

This is great idea to help newer players advance and not being useless in competitive play.

I'd like to get any tips/critique or any kind of advice regarding my play.

I usually play HC or Remote.
This is TBD.

Time has past, Sir Class. I'm no longer the embodiment of my previous self. I guess I was really reliant on pre-nerf. Maybe I'll get a tutor from you or something like that. Bring me back to light.

Though, X is still great. xD He is better paired up with Mat though.

Oh, I guess I'll list out my needs for improving.

General Loopy countering - Plodet, Bip
Plodet enlightenment (Countering bombers, lasers and EMP) - Plodet [I guess Remote, but I'll apply knowledge to Directhermo]

Pft, if I wanted to tutor I'd wanna domber like a boss.

I'll stick to Plodeting. Perferably with knowledge of pre-nerf and how styles changed between the new mines.

Um wat. Ok lets set something straight here. I don't want to learn some fancy shots that i can already do. Being able to aim and kill planes with HC is required to play it at a minimum level. Its the basic thing to learn, aiming...
There is much more to learn to become successful with biplane like prioritizing your shots in situations, and where do be on Defense/energy management when attacking etc etc.... Much much more to Biplane than pewpew and explosions

Sure man, I would love to help, but I am giving up alti for a couple of weeks (my uni exams are looming) and so you may have to wait a little. If you want we can go through how to kill each plane and how to position yourself. I won't be any help with the running aspects of laser, but blln can go over them too.

My exams end on the end on the 12th/13th, but then there might (read: will) be some celebrations. So 3 weeks(ish) from now, is that okay? It might be best if the tutoring is broken up anyway, you won't have time to practise both running and whoring if me and blln are helping you at the same time.

You're probably safe. TA is bad if you've got 100+ ping, which excludes a load of people.

I would really like to learn about randa in ball if Ball'n was available. Just being able to 180 without ploughing into a wall would be sweet (that counts as an ineptitude fair warning)

Equally I would be happy to learn more generally from Nikon.

Great idea this mled, good man.

So mled, may I ask how this is going to work? What I mean is, when students come along, are we just going to help them when ever they are online, or do you assign tutors to students? Or do the students just ask for help when they see a tutor?

Well, the way i see it is when a student needs help he should PM a tutor either in-game or over the forums. Many players have added me and just asked me to give them tips, this is easier imo.
I believe it is the students job to ask for help, we offer it.

Now remember tho I have assigned various tutors for various subjects so the student should ask the right tutor for help.

Yeah, i respect mled's decision. I guess he doesn't want to confuse the students with advanced play, at first, hence Vesu's roll in it all.
