This is a concept map:
The main reason behind making this map was when I thought of TBD bases in a Ball map. As it turns out, you can heal on the base if you are the same color. This discovery led to my second map, ball_base. (P.S. You cannot have more than 2 bases on a TBD map; I've tried it.) This map is way too small. Also, why use bases when you can't land on them? The bases aren't collidable except for certain parts, so it's confusing to play this map.
Edit: By the way, didn't mean to just be negative. It would have helped your thread if you had called it a "concept" map instead of a "serious" map. It's not a BALL map that works in any real way, so when I think of serious, I think of playable/balanced/fun/challenging. When I think of concept, I think of something out of the ordinary that makes us step back and say, huh, that might be interesting to pursue.

The opposite would work - although ugly, a tbd map made with goals allover. - 2 basis only.
Question: What would happen if a tbd map had 2 bases for each team? Having to destroy both to win the game? That could be something!? |

The idea of healing on a base in ball mode is sick, the only problem with this map is that people will be wasting time trying to land upside down and vertically on bases instead of playing xD

I might replace some of the bases with normal objects, leaving the bases in strategic places for healing. And of course increasing map size. We'll see how it turns out though.

imo add a neutral bomb spawn to allow players to take out obstacles and blow up healing pads strategically, etc.

Probably, but don't you think ball is too fast paced for someone to spend 5 seconds healing? It could be helpful for def I guess.
