I like most of them but Asteroids is my favorite. Not a fan of Caves or Hills.

tbd_boxer

Boxer in a map is just auto-pure-win.

I don't think Grotto is official partly due to the fact that it's just a reuse of the graphics from Cave. If there is enough interest I could remake the map with entirely different graphics if it would have a chance of becoming "official."

Oh and my fav map is probably tbd_takeover.

I don't think anyone needs you to slap around your epeen to enjoy something that's actually enjoyable or fulfill any problem you might be having because people's favorite maps so far haven't been yours.

For me.. the core, absolutely. I feel it has the right balance among close and open spaces, passages width and map dimension.

uh, several of his maps HAVE been mentioned. I'm not sure why you hate maimer so much, but jesus. relax.

btw, I'll throw my hat in with the middleground / asteroids crowd.

I'm not sure I've ever even played grotto.

Grotto's a map I made 4-5 months ago which Maimer altered a bit and which hasn't been touched since. From a gameplay perspective I think it deserves to be in any reasonable pool, but as mentioned it's just re-using Cave graphics which makes it not-official-worthy.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who plays the game with the very maps that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide them. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you open the editor and make a map yourself. Either way, I don't care what you enjoy.

Just to clear the last post up, it was meant to be a joke. It is a play off of a quote from the movie A Few Good Men. I thought someone would get it right off the bat but just wanted to make it clear that the post didn't bother me and I was just trying to have a little fun!

Oh how much I LOVE squeezing thru on tbd_orange, however middle ground/lost city is king. FFA middle ground please, anyone?

Edit: I would love to see a map that legitimately ties in the "squeezing between connected bouncy pieces" aspect. TBD_Wombwars - both bases are encapsulated by "eggs," the team members, or sperms, must squeeze into the opposing egg and deliver their protein bomb, thus impregnating the offenders.

The Core. Simple geometric shapes, one neutral bomb in the middle, not too many turrets... just perfect.

I'd like to see a series of pudding themed maps. Maybe a lovely mountain of profiteroles floating in a creamy sea.

I also concede this notion. Any others, refer to the picture before conceding to this notion as well.

You won't think they're so tasty when I point out that they are little balls of 'shoe pastry'.

It was a dish invented by my great grand-uncle (twice removed) in Ukraine when, due to the lack of atomic power at the time, the geese were on strike. This meant all the geese farmers were at home and did not require shoes! (By law, in Ukraine, only geese farmers may be shod, as due to an odd loophole they are defined as horses).

To cut a long story short, all that shoe leather had to be used. And now we are witness to this abomination you have before you - mouth-sized balls of chewy leather full of non-dairy creamer.
