vote kick problem

Well there was this guy called skycaptain who would dodge vote kicks by leaving before the kick takes effect and comming back. It was a bit of a problem until he finally left.

This guy had constant 999 ping and was camping the bomb on top of it. He simply wouldnt die on his way to our base. When we did kill him, a bomb magically apears seconds later and hits our base. I would have put up with it like all the other 300 pingers if he didnt insist on camping the bomb. It was the no max ping server after all.

I've had the same problems trying to kick people who just leave before the vote is over.

lol the no max ping servers are pretty much there for those high pingers or people who don't know what ping is. Why would you play there?

It's sometimes the only server where there are people.

You cannot dodge a vote kick by leaving the server.

The ban duration is only 2 minutes, so he was probably just waiting out the ban and coming back.

damn.....me and gameguard fail then.....

It's still satisfying to watch those about to get kicked go down in flames of "**** YOU ALL" and "I (insert verb) YOUR MOM" before the inevitable "[Howdy](insert player of that "team")" has left the game"

I had a guy come on to my server ("Babestation 600 - play games with the hottest local babes") and he knew the magic words to make the internet go backwards.

I spent half an hour trying to explain to people why all the bullets kept being sucked back into their planes and bomb-camping instead made bombs appear like they were giving birth to high explosives before I called it a day and threw my router in the bin.

Nowadays I play Altitude from a good old pen and paper. No-one can make that go wrong!
