New player maps

I took old maps and simplified them for new players. Please try them out on your beginner friendly servers.

Have you seen the other beginner maps people created? ball_alley, ball_dice, and a few others if I recall...not sure where the links are. They could be good for these servers.

Yea I've seen them. They need better graphics but layouts look promising.

Nice work, IMO change graywar to lightwar or something similar. Everytime I read it, I see gaywar. (Freudian slip, ikr)

Updated maps:

renamed graywar to greywar

ball_proton:
Shrunk the width a lot (417pixels or so)
added geometry in the middle
moved spawn points closer to the middle (less defensive of a map now)

Changed server names to Official New Players 40+ #1 - US

On a side note feedback like this would be great if it was fedback directly to the map makers rather than randomly in other threads. Just saying ^^

proton actually looks a lot more fun for veteran players than ball_core, which is no fun at all

Looks good. There's a possible bug on Proton - the bit behind the respawn (has kind of a cage texture) seems to be open to outside the bounds of the map, so you can shoot the ball up there and lose it. Not sure if this is intentional or not.

When I played Proton it was pretty horrific, big fan of Fracas though.
