Yeah, the chopper got bored I guess and started showing one of the Enterprise's escorts, the U.S.S. Leyte Gulf, a Ticonderoga class cruiser.

I miss Norfolk. I went to high school just across the bay in Hampton, VA. It was really cool driving across the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel and seeing the Naval Base with all the carriers at the docks.

I remember the good old days when the carriers used to visit us in the SF Bay. My dad would get positively giddy (highly unusual for him) and take me down to see them. U.S.S. Constellation was the first one I ever saw. Nothing can compare to it. She blotted out the horizon as we got closer to her. Those were good days. None of this post 9/11 political bull****. No ridiculous flag waving or bull**** protesting, just people lined up allllllllllll the way down the Embarcadero for hours, just to see the carrier.

I got the opportunity to attend a family day aboard the USS George Washington back in early 2008. My sister got to sing in front of about 2,000 people on board. It was an amazing experience!

This happened once here, a bunch of protestors turned up at the funeral processions of our soldiers.

Of course, the best way to deal with this is to start a flame war:http://theenglishdefenceleagueextra.blogspot.com/

Although the action is wrong, it is still disgusting that people would do this sort of thing.
