well, i'm calling it. it's been a great ride and i've met a bunch of really awesome people, but all good things must come to an end and i've tied up all loose knots.

first things first - people i have on my mute list. most of you are on here because you quite simply cannot take a joke and react so pathetically that you're not even fun to troll. some of you are on here because i literally feel like i am getting dumber every time i read something you type. you should know who you are, and there are two things you're thinking here. 1) "LOL, this guy's a retard". 2) "what can i do to be less of a prick?". 2 is better.

if i did individual shoutouts i would be sitting here typing for years, so i'll just hit quickly on some teams/groups of people that made my experience in altitude significantly better. for the purpose of this exercise, i'm going to basically ignore people i am going to be talking to basically every day even though i won't be playing altitude.

[FRO] - you guys all know what you mean to me. back a year or whatever ago when i was shopping myself to tbd teams like i was standing on a corner, the only team that ever looked remotely interested was, well, nobody. then beagle came back and had this crazy idea to make a team, and we never looked back. i love and adore every single one of you, and i'm really excited for our upcoming APL season. special shoutout to our OG members, all of whom are still on the team. we da best.

FC - i can't say enough about how well this team is run. lakos is probably one of the best team leaders i've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and he organizes ball like it's his job. for the quality of captaining lakos puts out, he deserves to win sky league every season. everyone else on the team was also surprisingly on board with bringing one of the biggest trolls/assholes on board their previously all-euro team, and even the dudes whose playing time i was stealing were super nice about it. if you're super talented at ball and don't create abortions of text every time you think someone cares about what you have to say, please please please join FC.

swedish people - i don't know what it is, but i love all of you. you all think i'm funny and can take massive amounts of **** without blinking, and you're all also really good at this game. ingbo, i <33333 you, and if anyone's going to coerce me into playing some tbd ladder it's you. sorry i wouldn't join fLb for ball with you, but i like to keep promises i make.

mike/tgleaf/dem - even though it's totally obvious, i think the community vastly underestimates just how much you all do for us. without you all the forums would be overrun, the game would be vastly different, and i'm not sure how many of us old haggard vets would even still be playing. thanks for being awesome.

sammies - you guys are really the inspiration for everything altitude should be about. when playing you guys were the most dominant team of all time, and from what i could tell you all had more fun than the other teams while doing it. every one of you was amazingly chill and a blast to play with, and it just sucks that you guys were gone so soon. RIP pworthy!

tVo peeps - i'm tight with pretty much everyone on the team but that wanker sky, and against all odds you put out a dominant team every season. unbreak/rojo are the most unlikely captain pair i've seen in a while, but both of you dudes have leadership qualities that aren't inherently obvious when talking to you normally.

nobo/rye - sorry for being a pain in the ass basically the entire year or so i've known you, especially so the last couple months. you guys run ladder about as well as humanly possible, and even though you both are terrible at this game and sc2, you're both great dudes. ryebone is also kind of funny sometimes, but nobo has CCN's sense of humor. probably something to work on.

andy - your work in running leagues and running teams is super great, and you're kind of a badass player too. you're actually pretty much the opposite of tomato in every way, which is probably a good thing.

kuja - despite what ingbo says, you're more than a little bit of an asshole. i'd be a bigger asshole if i left you off though, because i learned a ton from you about how to effectively lead a team without being overbearing, and the fact that everyone on fLb loves and defends you so fiercely just goes to show that you're probably underrated as a human being.

ron - it's actually rather amazing that we're basically the same person on the internet despite being completely different people irl. i still have no idea where you're making all these posts that are keeping your post count higher than mine. 15-1!

yeah, i'll still be in mumble a lot as long as tec will have me, i'm planning on playing a combination of sc2/borderlands/bc2 until the inevitable releases of guild wars 2, dota 2, and skyrim.
