This Outside The Lines report comes straight from our field reporter in Italy, Tomato.

Upon hearing about the Steam free weekend, many users rejoiced. The server would be full, and many more servers would be created. Floods of chipper new loopys would roam the ocean floor, searching for things to pew pew.

This is a nice fairytale you've created for all of us, Karlam, but there were whispers. Shadows in the night, scarcely discernible amongst the rejoicing. Oh yes, we know what you've done.

With this new mass of players comes the potential for destruction, chaos, and havoc. The world we live in now is a peaceful one, with only the occasional donk sighting.

However, the world you envision, the "future" as you call it, is bleak. I have seen it with my own eyes. Hundreds, maybe even thousands, of donks, streaming across the ocean floor, their boats destroying anything that dares leave the bouncy servers. Nay, even those quaint relics will not be safe! With a wrath unlike any seen in our generation, this new legion of donks will consume Altitude, destroying our noble servers and enslaving those who have worked so hard to create peace in our quiet ocean.
