I just can not connect to the log in server. I checked everything on my end. My internet is in perfect order, I let it through the firewall, and I even turned off my anti-virus. What's going on?

Have you ever been able to connect? If so there may be a temporary connection problem between your local ISP and our master server.
Otherwise you may need to enable UPnP on your router or set up port forwarding. Alternatively you could try this: Start -> Run -> cmd (to open a dos prompt) In the dos window, type ipconfig From the results, select the "IPv4 Address" corresponding to your primary internet connection. In my case the value is 192.168.1.4 Now, use a text editor to open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\altitude\config\optio ns.xml On the line starting with <networkOptions... Replace bindIp="ANY" with bindIp="ipv4address_obtained_from_instructions_abo ve" Replace port="27272" with port="48000" Replace upnpEnabled="true" with upnpEnabled="false" Then save options.xml and relaunch Altitude. |
