Ladder Season 2 ends Friday

That is right, season 2 is ending Friday. Sometime when I get home on Friday (possibly around 10 pm EST at night) I will take the servers down, reset the ladder, and put them back up. There will be no new features this time unlike last reset. If you want to make a final lunge at grabbing that top spot from donk or shmo, you have until Friday to do it. Good luck!

Does it not seem wrong to anyone else that the top rated player continues to gain points for wins in the same quantity as a player with a rating 2000 points lower?

that depends entirely on the quality of the players in the server

if he keeps winning 50/50 games then of course his rating will increase at the same rate. if there are nothing but crappy players with low ratings in the server, his massive points lead will make it so his team has a much higher expected % of win, thus lowering his potential points gained. there's no need to punish high rated players for playing with other players closer to their skill level.
