I don't know about any of you, but I spend quite a bit of time each day online browsing through various sites that offer things on sale at pretty great prices. I have posted a couple finds on the forums before, but it's obviously quite silly to create a new thread every time something goes on sale. For those interested in games outside of Altitude, I'll be updating this thread as often as possible as new video game deals pop up for the PC, with the occasional sweet Mac deal thrown in here or there.

There are a couple sites I browse that aren't specifically related to video games but are good for generic deals that are updated daily. I don't check these types of sites as regularly, let me know any big ones I missed.

Below this I'll post the deals. Again, let me know if you spotted one I missed.

Feel free to leave feedback or questions about games I've posted. If I can't answer them, someone else probably can.

it's worth noting that prototype is also currently on sale on steam for the same price as direct2drive, but requires installation of steam if you don't already have it (and why wouldn't you?)

Pro tip: never download 6GB files directly from a browser, use jDownloader or Speed Downloader. I put my laptop screen down and it cancelled the download in Chrome. Having to start over. Sigh. >.>

Yes they do.

Firefox is actually the browser responsible for the "browser revolution." And it is, one of the best tbh (edit, more stable I should say)

I have Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE6+ and yes, Nightly. I do not like really any of the browsers but I do wish all browsers would freakin go webkit!

When you pay the money and buy the game from their website, they'll give your a name and password. You then use aforementioned name and password in the aforementioned box to download aforementioned game.
