APL 6 Preseason

Sunday 18th September, 2pm EST
Why:
You asked for it
Where:
APL1-6 Servers
How:
Bo1 games, picked from a 3 map pool. Bottom team vetoes 1 map then the other team picks.

Map pool:

Round 1 (W&L bracket): Lostcity, mayhem, heights.
Round 2 (W&L bracket): Asteroids, core, justice.
Round 3 (W&L bracket): Fallout, focus, cave.
Round 4 (W&L bracket): Asteroids, focus, underpark.
Round 5 (L bracket): Scrapyard, heights, core.
Finals: Mayhem, asteroids, cave, focus, heights.

Finals are bo3.
There are 6 servers and a maximum of 6 games at the same time. Top game APL1 then APL2 and so on.

as long we have only few teams this year..why we just do all vs all..without playoffs?

If it is set for playoffs not to be , maybe try a home&away system, that every team plays every other team twice

Actually we always have same amount of team. 7-10 active teams. Currently we have 10 teams, with both F-15 and (5) not show up we have 8 active teams.
I would prefer round robin group stage - 2 groups with 4 teams each. Each team play with each other 2 times. 2 best teams of each group proceed to double elimination tourney.

I think:

1) qq
2) FRO
3) IL
4) KLF

Unsure about the others, f16 and (5) were no shows, and fLb (and possibly 51) didn't have enough. Pewpew were 30 minutes late but did eventually play. KLF only lost once but then disappeared which is why they defaulted to 4th.

just saying, maybe from next week, admins should post schedules at least thursday, since on preseason 3 clans missed games...

I didnt have time to contact all the teams and since we had lots of no shows on preseason i need to know beforehand who is still in this apl.

do you need someone to co-admin or something if you just don't have the time to get league stuff sorted? i mean, i'm trying to not be a huge bitch, but this is kind of the most important event in altitude, and i'd like to be able to do things on a timely and efficient schedule. teams should know by now that they need to show up at 2pm est on sunday for apl, if they don't then they forfeit. i had actually assumed we would be playing and the schedule was just delayed like the preseason, but it's kind of crappy that we're going to be delaying a week for no reason at all, especially for us since goose can make this week but probably not the following week.

just kick out (5) and F-16, assume fLb will show, and kick it off this week. you shouldn't need a confirmation list to guarantee you will have 5 people to play during the apl season. ffs what is this, first grade?
