Default Another port forwarding thread, but everything's open....

Hey all, I run a few servers with the [Batman] tag. They've worked fine up until today, where I get the "behind an improperly configured firewall" message.

I've opened ports 27272-27278 on both TCP and UDP on both my firewall and router, and allowed the server launcher, configurator and altitude executable itself through my firewall. In the past it's been working just fine with only the specific ports opened, so why it's suddenly failed I have no idea.

Is there any way I can troubleshoot this more specifically? I turned off my firewall, but it still won't run so I guess it's the router. Which is odd, since last week it was working fine with just a few UDP ports open on the router. Now I have the full range on both TCP and UDP open and yet, nothing....

Thanks for any help =)

EDIT: Oh cock, why is this in tech support and not dedicated server? Sorry, any chance of a mod moving it please?

Since you're forwarding ports on the router make sure you uncheck the UPnP box on the Altitude server configurator. Some routers get confused and break when using UPnP.

You could also try restarting your router (unplug it and plug it back in).

Unchecked UPnP, no dice. Will reset my router tomorrow morning and see. What's odd is how it worked just fine about a week ago but it refuses to run now :S

Thanks btw, and thanks for the move

Make sure that some random program on your server didn't mess with the firewall (on the machine, not the router). If you have a firewall on the machine it could have been reconfigured by accident and is now blocking the port.
