Fps
Im not clearly sure, how it suppose to be. I always was sure, that bigger FPS is better look.
Anyway. I just received altitude message, that i need to update my video card drivers. I did it. Now my monitor appear as standard, but w/e. My question is. Now my FPS is 74-75, it was stable 60 tho. Can someone explain, how it affect on gameplay? I read on "Binding of Isaac, the" Steam forums, that there higher FPS means bigger speed of game, which sometimes hurt |

FPS is your frames per second, or how often your screen updates to changes that are happening. If your FPS is 10, then your screen updates 10 times a second and will appear to stutter. For me, I don't notice 30 FPS stuttering (probably because I got used to playing wow at 13 FPS for far too long).
60 FPS is awesome, and anything more is gravy. Having more doesn't mean the game is going faster (ie planes move faster), it means your monitor is showing changes in the action more often. Example of 15, 30, and 60 fps (so I lie. The 30 makes me twitch.) Last edited by Aki1024; 10-09-2011 at 03:09 PM. |

I notice that sometimes my game froze for second, my fps drops to 5-10, then i got fps(much higher than 60) and everyone achieve super speed. I dont like those videos, Dem. You very disappointed me |

My understanding is that the super speed of players in this case is the client trying to catch up with what the server says the current game state is.
